The goal of the Scout is to build character, to train for citizenship, and to foster the development of physical, mental, and moral fitness.

he President’s Scout Award is the highest honor a Scout can achieve in Sri Lanka, awarded by the Sri Lanka Scout Association [scout.lk]. It recognizes Scouts who have shown dedication and accomplishment in various areas.

2nd Trinco Scout Training Programme
The Scout Training Program is an immersive and comprehensive course designed to equip young scouts with essential life skills, leadership qualities, and a deep appreciation for nature and community service. Through a blend of outdoor activities, team-building exercises, and educational workshops, participants will learn survival skills, first aid, navigation, and environmental stewardship. This program fosters personal growth, resilience, and camaraderie, preparing scouts to face challenges with confidence and a spirit of adventure.

To contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
What is Scouting?
The World Scouts Movement is one of the largest children and youth organizations at present, functioning in Countries almost all over the world. Scouting is a voluntary nonpolitical, non-formal educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race, or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by our Founder, Lord Baden Powell, which provides young people with opportunities to participate in programmes, events, activities and projects that contribute to their growth as active citizens. Through these initiatives, young people become agents of positive change who inspire others to take action.
