On July 10th, 2024, our Media Club members had an enriching experience participating in a Photography Intro Session conducted by Trincographers (Society of Photography) and Thalam. The event, which saw the enthusiastic participation of 17 students, was a fantastic opportunity for budding photographers to delve into the world of photography.

The session kicked off with a warm welcome from the hosts, followed by an engaging introduction to the basics of photography. Students learned about fundamental photography rules and techniques, such as understanding exposure, composition, lighting, and the effective use of camera settings. The instructors from Trincographers and Thalam shared their expertise, offering valuable insights into the art and science of capturing compelling images.

What made the session particularly impactful was its practical approach. After the theoretical explanations, students had the chance to apply what they had learned in a hands-on practice session. They experimented with different techniques, received personalized feedback, and honed their skills in real-time, which significantly boosted their confidence and understanding.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, where students could clarify doubts and seek further guidance. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the Media Club members were truly commendable.
